Early December we have finalized the first part of a new LED lighting project. The customer is based in in Auckland, New Zealand. A number of our top quality LED High Bay lamps were supplied for installation at a warehouse/ workshop in South Auckland. Not just energy saving is of key importance to customer. Given the nature of the work that takes place at the facility, the quality of the light itself was considered at least as important. Technical products are assembled and maintained at the facility, which meant our customer had several specific requests to the intensity and quality of the light itself. After careful consideration we selected 150W LED High Bay lamps together with the owner. The lamps are installed at a height of 8m. The new lamps provide >500 Lux at work level and provide crystal clear vision at the workplace. The light at the workshop has improved drastically and the feedback from our customer is extremely positive. The first substantial energy savings have been achieved and the remaining existing conventional lamps of 350W each will all be replaced throughout the first quarter of 2013.
